The app can't hear me / recording doesn't start
cotalk needs microphone permission to record. Check System Settings → Privacy → Microphone (iOS) or Settings → Apps → cotalk → Permissions (Android) and make sure access is granted. Recording only happens while a session is active.
The AI co-hosts aren't responding
AI replies require a network connection — transcription, reply generation, and voice synthesis all run in the cloud. If you're online and the problem persists, leave the room and rejoin, or restart the app.
How do I export an episode?
Open the episode, review the chapter list, and use Export to share the composed audio along with its chapter manifest.
Are my recordings private?
Yes — sessions are private by default and audio only leaves the service when you export or share an episode yourself. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete a session or my whole account?
Individual sessions and episodes can be deleted in the app. To delete your account and all data, see Account Deletion.
